We provide a full range of retail and commercial financial services including home and business lending, funds management and treasury services as well as being the government’s bank since 1989.
As the government’s bank, we provide main banking services to over 200 entities including 40 key government agencies. These include:
- Helping to collect more than $470m in child support payments each year.
- Processing payroll for 94,000 teachers and support staff in around 2,500 schools.
- Enabling 809,000 superannuation payments each fortnight.
- Helping collect $80b tax each year.
We support Aotearoa in a range of ways beyond our core business and are focused on helping solve some of the biggest long-term challenges in Aotearoa.
